GDM SCENIC stone large size slabs, outdoor benches and planter units in Brussels, BELGIUM

We were chosen to deliver GDM.SCENIC stone large size slabs, outdoor bespoke benches and planter units for the make-over of the shopping street in Ixelles, Brussels.
One year after the beginning of the project, the development of a large part of the Chaussée d'Ixelles in a calm or semi-pedestrian zone was finished! For the boulevards of one of the largest shopping streets of Brussels and the Fernand Cocq Square, we supplied over 10.000 m² of GDM.SCENIC stone large size slabs. The 16 cm thick large size slabs have the special PROPOWER interlocking system in order to secure surface bond in case of heavy loads. The designer, ARTER Architects, chose to combine 4 different slab formats in 5 different colours with a Finerro finish. In collaboration with ARTER, Urbastyle has manufactured bespoke outdoor benches in architectural concrete, as well as the bespoke planter units.
