Eye-catching street furniture and slabs. Groenewijk park, Bruges, BELGIUM

Street furniture: picnic tables, benches and slabs with photo luminescent glow stone aggregates dominate the neighborhood park Groenewijk in Bruges.

In consultation with the local residents, this neighbourhood park Groenewijk was redesigned by the City of Bruges to create more space for playground equipment and street furniture. It also became clear that the children often play with the step and a step track was worked out. Urbastyle produced the Fino red coloured slabs with photo luminescent glow stone aggregates for the track where at the end of one of the side branches a Fino concrete 3 meter high roll of duct tape was installed so that it looks as if the course has been rolled out. In relation to the course, a small square was created for which street furniture such as a picnic table and benches were installed. The top of the street furniture have the Fino finish to ensure an easily maintained surface, the sides are Visia.
