Diamond-shaped tiles and steps for of the Rivierenhof Campus in Deurne, Antwerp.
The provincial network is growing steadily. With 382 pupils, the campus Rivierenhof was bursting at the seams. A new building was an absolute necessity. With this new building 220 extra places were created. The expansion fits in with the plan for a thousand new places in the entire Antwerp provincial education system.
That's wasn't easy in a park like the Rivierenhof. Architecture studio Ambiorix designed a series of skylights in the green roof for the new building to give all students maximum comfort during practical lessons.
The current school building from the 1920s was completely renovated and was completed in 2019.
