Large size slabs and LED benches – Hospital AZ Saint- Lucas, Ghent, BELGIUM

The new square in front of the entrance to the hospital AZ Saint-Lucas in Ghent is paved with large format slabs surrounded by LED benches.

As part of the master plan of the AZ Saint-Lucas hospital in Ghent, a modern and pleasant square was created at the new entrance. The extensive square has been realized in consultation with the city of Ghent and ensures that visitors from the city centre have direct access to the new central desk. Urbastyle supplied the large size slabs for the pavement and the LED benches which surround the square. The slabs are white, just like the public benches. As finishing, Ferro was chosen for the large size slabs and Fino for the LED benches. The public benches have recesses in which LED lighting has been installed. In the front of the LED benches at the entrance of the square, the name 'AZ Sint-Lucas' has been cast-in in a contrasting colour.
