Custom made benches and planters with integrated LED Lighting, De Haan, Belgium

Benches with integrated LED lighting and movable planters for De Haan.

For the coastal municipality of De Haan we casted custom-made T-shaped benches.  The benches not only have a T-shape, but are also curved and had to absorb a difference in level.

At the bottom of the benches, a LED strip has been provided so that a downward beam of light illuminates the benches during the night and thereby contributes to safety on the square.

In addition to these custom-made benches, beam-shaped benches and planters were also made in architectural concrete.  These stand-alone benches and planters have recesses at the bottom so that they can easily be moved with a forklift truck during events without damaging them.  

All elements were given the high-quality FINO finish in a granite-yellow colour.
