Galet benches full of color...
In October 2025, the City of Garland, Texas unveiled its new West Garland Library at Walnut Creek.
The landscape architect wanted to bring a playful twist to the library plaza using our Galet benches. The sculptural concrete forms rise gently from the landscape and invite visitors to sit, lounge and interact.
To harmonize with the library's contemporary architecture, we developed a custom color palette using premium acid-washed stains - going beyond our standard finishes. This bespoke treatment accentuates the smooth contours of each bench while tying them to the building's bold red and multicolored accents.
It delightful to see that the installation activates the outdoor plaza and enhances the visitor experience.
