BUTCHER GREENE ELEMENTARY, GRANDVIEW, MO

Renovating and improving their current playground area, Butcher-Greene Elementary worked with Mr. Michael Killeen from LAND3 Studio, LLC. to create a multipurpose outdoor space that could be used for reading, seating (for lunch and snacks), as well as a durable mobility area made to handle the rough and tumble activities of children. Urbastyle by Wausau Tile site furnishings were chosen as a key player in the new space due to the functionality of the products. With a fun and whimsical like design, Galet Collection features skipping stone benches that can easily be arranged to suit any outdoor space.

Positioned near the play system with mature trees close by for shade, 14 UrbaStyle by Wausau Tile Galet benches were placed in two separate sections of the commons, allowing mutiple groups to enjoy the outdoors at once. These concrete benches feature a white acid wash look and will make a great spot for educational activities or a quiet place for nature lovers.
