Modern picnic table - Residential and Nursing Home, Lommel, BELGIUM

For the garden of the Residential and Nursing Home ‘Hoevezavel’ in Lommel Urbastyle manufactured two modern picnic tables and planter units.

In addition to the three patios, which form 'spaces without a roof', at the new Residential and Nursing Home (Hoevezavel) in Lommel there is also a large outdoor space - the plaza. These spaces form the link between inside and outside and provide light and contact with nature. Two large modern picnic tables have been placed on the plaza. The exceptional design made the production and manipulation a challenge. Next to the picnic tables an oval with planter seats was provided. All elements were executed with a shot-blasted (Ferro) finish and a grey granite colour. The plaza with its picnic tables and planter seats also serves a public space, strengthening the link between the home and the neighbourhood.
