Slabs, concrete benches, step units, wall panels - KDG, Anwerp, BELGIUM

For the central courtyard of the KDG campus in Antwerp Urbastyle delivered slabs, concrete benches, step units, wall panels and wall coping.

The new KDG campus in Antwerp, opposite the Law Courts, is a renovation of an old biscuit factory. The campus is an integral part of the district and is a combination of old and new. The central square is designed as a meeting place with the vision to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is the hard of the campus. A beige colour was chosen for the concrete benches, slabs, wall panels, wall copings and step units of the square. The concrete benches and slabs have a ground finish. The wall panels, step units and wall copings have been shot blasted. The concrete benches have been provided with recesses during production so that the wooden seats are nicely integrated. The steps are also customized, the top surface is often parallel.
