Precast Architectural concrete for Hardenvoort campus, Antwerp, BELGIUM

Urbastyle delivered several precast architectural concrete elements for Hardenvoort campus for youth & children in Antwerp.

The new Hardenvoort children's and youth campus in Antwerp consists of a nursery and primary school, and a secondary school and is a passive building. The construction site for this new building project is located in Antwerp North, on the edge of Park Spoor Noord. The surrounding area was designed by TV Thiers - Dujardin Tuinarchitecten and Buro II & Archi+I. Several architectural concrete elements were produced by Urbastyle: outdoor benches, kerbs, curved and straight planter seat units, step units and specific facade elements with oval recesses. All elements in architectural concrete were executed in a Visia finish, a number of steps have integrated tactile blisters. This project has received the prestigious Buildings Award 2015 in Precast category
